Listen fam, we’re going to keep this one short and sweet…like this limoncello sangria. This is soooo easy to put together and you can really taste the limoncello without it being overpowering.
Since my family is Italian, we like to have limoncello as an after dinner aperitif and WOW do you feel it move down your throat. It’s delicious but in larger quantities it needs to be toned down. Insert a nice bottle of dry white wine to make the perfect limoncello sangria recipe.
BTW if you’re more of a red sangria type of person, try my Classic Red Sangria Recipe.
Oh ok last thing, but I make really cute reels on my Instagram account for all of my recipes. Follow my IG to see them all!
OK FINE I’LL SHUT UP. Here is the recipe…
Ingredients:
- 1 lemon
- 1 lime
- 1 peach
- 1 bottle of dry white wine (we used Albariño)
- 1/2 cup limoncello
- 1/4 cup simple syrup
- Ice
Instructions:
1. Dice your fruit up into little bits. Duh, that’s what dicing is lol.
2. Add the fruit to your pitcher along with the wine, limoncello, simple syrup, and ice.
3. Stir.
4. Serve immediately into a chilled glass.
5. DRINK UP!
!! HOT TIPS !!
- If you’re prepping it for the next day, add less fruit otherwise it will get bitter. If you do this, you can add diced up fruit directly into each glass prior to serving.
- You can also add in a splash of soda water to each glass to cut the bitterness.
WHAT I USED
- Do not sleep on Crate & Barrel glassware and barware…it is SO GOOD. So good that I just made a TikTok about it LOL. I used this pitcher from Crate & Barrel and love it.
- Our wine glasses that we use ALL the time – for sangria, wine, spritzes, you name it.
