My boyfriend and I recently got a new rug for our living room and I forgot for a second how much of a difference rugs make when completing and revamping spaces. We still went back and forth on buying a colorful rug or sticking with neutral, but since we plan on getting a cool accent chair, we went with neutral. Needless to say as and as you’ll come to learn about me, I MADE SURE to do my research to see what’s out there. As a result, here are the 9 best neutral rugs for any space…
WAYFAIR
The one that we bought is the Dorland Power Loom Gray Rug (they recently changed the name and it took me forever to track down) and we LOVE it. I’ll try to get a better picture than the one here but for now this will have to do. We have a navy blue sofa in case that helps anyone.
This Charcoal/Ivory Area Rug that has a faded charcoal pattern.
Ok and another one of my favorite neutral rugs (and the one we were in between!) from Wayfair is this Light Gray/White/Charcoal Rug. I love the fact that it has three diamonds in the middle of the rug. I LOVE.
This Abstract Gray/Cream Area Rug also has really great reviews and is more on the yellow color spectrum than gray (is that a thing?).
AMAZON
Next let’s continue this list with an Amazon find! This Lightly Patterned Faded Rug is perfect to fit any layout and color scheme.
Another Amazon find! This Textured Tassel Rug is chunky and we love it.
RUGS.COM
My brother owns this Monte Carlo Rug (picked out by me hiiii!) and it looks beautiful in his living room with lots of natural light, white sofa, and wood coffee table. Definitely one of my favorite neutral rugs.
This Patterned Oregon Rug is a slightly funky but in the most neutral way possible.
This Estate Rug has an ivory and dark dark dark blue pattern, how beautiful?!
OVERSTOCK
Take a look at this Boho Chic Distressed Rug – available in really beautiful colors as well.
Very subtle in its pattern, this Bohemian Border Rug is a perfect blend of patterns.
TARGET
Target has this Diamond Patterned Shag Rug that is simple and makes a statement.
