Funky Elements

Keep it fresh by introducing funky elements to your working space. For example, wallpaper on your ceiling, a cool rug, or a super out there desk lamp, add an element of shock to keep it interesting!

Natural Lighting

This might be obvious, but if you’re able to put your desk in a place that gets as much natural light as possible, I promise that sun shining through the windows will be an instant feel good.

Artificial Lighting

Plants

Did you know it’s a fact that plants make people happy? Yep. Add some real or fake plants to your desk surroundings to make you…well…happier.

Cute But Comfortable Chair

You know the desk chairs that are in every corporate office that just scream 2003? You don’t have to get one of those. There are comfortable chairs that look 10000x better and if you really want, you can buy a back or lumbar pillow to make it more comfortable (that’s what I do).

Personalize It

What’s YOUR working space if it doesn’t reflect YOUR life. Add personal touches of things that bring a smile to your face! Photos, trinkets from travels, your favorite coaster, wall art, whatever makes you happy. This one if my favorite out of all the home office tips.
